Jean Lambert’s rather chilling article in the New Statesman marking this day brings me right back to the issues I spent most of the nineties campaigning on.  Her analysis of the impact of the recession on women makes grim reading, but at least these issues are being raised by a national political party senior figure, a London MEP.

  1. You’re right it is grim reading – but at least we have someone of Jean’s quality plugging away at the issues.

First it’s Jean Lambert taking me back to my campaigning against violence against women. Now your guest post from Mark McCormick on the silent protests takes me right back to my peace campaigning. A really moving post…
